Compassus Hospice—Looking for volunteers with a compassionate heart to help others through daily check-up calls, sending notes of encouragement, and helping around patients’ homes to ease their burden of the little everyday things.

Etowah Baptist Mission Center—Looking for volunteers to help in both the food and clothing donation areas or in the office area answering phone calls and greeting clients who are seeking help.

Etowah County Free Community Clinic—Looking for volunteers to help in different areas of the clinic, from greeting clients and answering phones to helping in file or medication rooms.

Gadsden Quilters Guild—Do you enjoy sewing? Well, if the answer is “yes,” consider joining this group making quilts for the Etowah County Pregnancy Center and other area locations or sewing lap quilts for area nursing homes.

George Wallace and H.D. Buttram Senior Centers– Looking for volunteers to help as van drivers and van food runners. Also, looking for help in the kitchen area preparing meals.

Manna: Volunteers are needed to deliver meals to homebound individuals in the Gadsden and surrounding areas.
