Beginning Monday, May 14th, 2012 the bridge over Black Creek on Moon
Road will be closed for replacement of the existing three ton
structure.  Carcel & G Construction, LLC. will be replacing the
existing fifty foot bridge with a four barrel bridge culvert.  The
project is being funded through the Gadsden-Etowah County Metropolitan
Planning Organization utilizing federal funding.  The contractor has
sixty working days to complete the new bridge.  Traffic should detour
utilizing Lay Springs to Pleasant Hill to Tabor Road.
