How We Work

Etowah County Rural Transportation (ECRT) makes every effort to serve the needs of all the citizens of Etowah County. Since our buses cross and re-cross the entire county, the chances are excellent that one of our regular routes will be just what you need. If one of the regular routes is not going where and when you need to go, we will work hard to accommodate you with other planning. All passengers from health care facilities, nursing homes, and assisted living residences are required to be accompanied by an assistant. There is no charge for the assistant with regular fare for the passenger.

Keeping in Touch

In order for ECRT to serve the community better, we are constantly expanding and improving our services. The public is always invited to call us to inquire about any of our new services or for changes on any of our regular routes.
We are here to serve the public, and no question is too big or too small to handle. Please contact us with any questions or suggestions.

Demand Response

Our Demand Response program means that if you need a ride, just pick up the phone and call us from 8:00 AM to 4:30 PM! Please call no more than 48 hours in advance and no less than 24 hours for your transit needs.
