Goodhope Construction Company is currently scheduled to being work on the resurfacing of Gallant Road on Wednesday, September 12th, 2012. The work is being performed from the intersection of US Highway 278 to the St. Clair County line. The project includes an overlay of asphalt on the existing roadway, replacement of damaged guardrail, and restriping of the roadway. The project is being funded utilizing Etowah/Gadsden Metropolitan Planning Organization funds, Federal Funds, and local funds. The length of the project is 10.78 miles.
