Getting to Know Jeffery Washington

Commissioner Jeffery B. Washington currently resides in Etowah County and has all of his life. He attended grade school in Attalla, Al until 1993. He later moved to East Gadsden, where he graduated from Litchfield High School in 1986. Following his secondary education, Commissioner Washington went on to attend Gadsden State Community College and later transferred to the University Of West Alabama. He also received training courses from Alabama Local Government Training Institute – Auburn University. In November of 2018, he was elected County Commissioner for District 5 – Etowah County. Commissioner Washington’s work experience includes 10 years in management and 5 years in the Attalla and Gadsden School System. He owns and operates Blue Chips Sports Authority.
