Our office hours are from 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM, Monday through Friday at the Etowah County Courthouse, 800 Forrest Avenue, Gadsden, Alabama.

Failure To File Information
All Businesses, Corporations and LLC’ S are required to file a Business Personal Property Return assessing all machinery, equipment, furniture & fixtures between October 1st and December 31st of each year. If you have not filed, please do so immediately. A 10 % Penalty will be applied after the third Monday in january for late filing or failure to file.

Important Notice Vehicle Tags and Titles
As mandated by Alabama State Law, Section 32-7A-5, Code of Alabama 1975, effective January 1, 2013, no Tags/Titles for any motorized vehicle will be issued without Proof of Valid Drivers License and Liability Insurance. Please bring in both documents in order that our office may handle your business without delays.

The deadline to file a homestead for the upcoming 2013 tax year was January 2, 2013. If you missed this deadline and still need to file a homestead for the 2013 tax year, please call (256)549.5481 to speak with a revenue clerk to discuss options that we might have to help you.

Personalized License Plates
Talladega College has elected to participate in the personalized collegiate license plate program under Section 32-6-150, Code of Alabama 1975. Beginning February 1, personalized Talladega College license plates will be available to order on PROS (Plate Reservation and Ordering System).
