The resurfacing of Tumlin Gap Road is currently scheduled for letting in June of 2013.  The project will involve the placement of a surface treatment, leveling of the roadway, placement of a new asphalt wearing surface, and traffic stripe.  The project limits are from Gallant Road to Alabama Highway 132.  The project is 3.59 miles in length and is being

 The bridge on Jackson Trail over the Locust Fork of the Warrior River is currently scheduled to be replaced.  The current bridge is posted for a three ton weight limit.  The bridge replacement is being funded utilizing Alabama Transportation Rehabilitation and Improvement
Program (ATRIP) and local funds.

Colvin Gap Road is currently scheduled for resurfacing in 2013.  The project will involve leveling of the existing roadway, widening of the roadway, placement of a new asphalt wearing surface, and traffic stripe from the Calhoun County line to Sibert Street South.  The project is 2.41 miles in length and is being funded through the Metropolitan Planning Organization (MPO) and

Egpyt Mountain Road is currently scheduled for an April 2013 project letting for improvements to the roadway from Littleton Road to Williamsburg Road.  The project will involve leveling of the existing roadway, placement of a new asphalt wearing surface, traffic stripe, and installation of guardrail along the roadway.  The project is 0.79 miles in length and is being funded through

 The bridge on Mayo Road over Bristow Creek is currently
scheduled to be let to bid in May 2013.  The current bridge is posted for a three ton weight limit.  The bridge replacement is being
funded utilizing Alabama Transportation Rehabilitation and Improvement
Program (ATRIP) and local funds. 

The bridge on Steele Station Road over Rook Creek is currently
scheduled to be let to contract in May 2013.  The current bridge is posted for a nine ton weight limit.  The bridge replacement is being
funded utilizing Metropolitan Planning Organization and local funds.

 The bridge on Bud Umphrey Road over Bristow Creek is currently scheduled to be replaced in 2013.  The current bridge is posted for a three ton weight limit.  The bridge replacement is being funded utilizing Alabama Transportation Rehabilitation and Improvement Program (ATRIP) and local funds. The replacement will eliminate a detour of several miles for vehicles over the posted weight

The bridge on Wesson Gap Road over Big Wills Creek is currently scheduled to be replaced in 2013.  The current bridge was closed after a failure of the steel truss section.  The bridge replacement is being funded utilizing Alabama Transportation Rehabilitation and Improvement Program (ATRIP) and local funds.
