The 6 years I have been serving as County Commissioner we have embarked on a road upgrading plan funded by a Bond Issue. This Bond Issue has allowed us to increase our road paving and upgrade our roads and bridges within the District. In the last 6 years we have paved, resurfaced, or upgraded 144 miles of the total 274 miles in District 3 at a total cost of over $4.9 million. To save tax payer dollars, we divided the district into 4 quadrants with each area being upgraded in a one year period. We have now expended the Bond Issue and will begin next year on a more limited basis.
